Heartworms can cause inflammation and fluid build up in the lungs of your cat. It causes allergic reactions and sometimes sudden death. Cats who suffer from the disease may or may not show any symptoms that’s why it is hard to determine. The common symptoms of heartworm in cats are coughing and vomiting.
If you love your pet cat and you want to make sure that it is safe from heartworm, give them heartgard for cats. Heartgard for cats are given once a month or as prescribed by the veterinarian. It is usually given during the month before the mosquito season up to the month after the season.
